The Hanen Centre® is an internationally recognized not for profit organization and leading researcher in early childhood language and literacy development. For nearly 50 years Hanen has placed parents first when it comes to helping their child build language, literacy, and social skills. Driven by the firm belief that “parents can and should be their child’s most important language teachers,” Hanen has developed several research-based programs and resources specifically for parents of children from birth to five years of age to show them how they can make the most of every interaction they share with their child.
The Confident Communication Center (The CCC) is a Florida-based practice led by Monique May, M.S., CCC-SLP, a Hanen Certified ® pediatric speech language pathologist. The CCC provides telehealth and school-based services as well as children’s media research to ensure young children and their families are empowered to become confident communicators.
